It has been designed keeping the unique recruitment needs of companies in mind and helps facilitate a fair and systematic recruitment process. This is to ensure minimum convenience to both the students as well as to our corporate partners.

The Career Development branch of the Placement Cell helps students to explore their goals & options and develops the skills required for successful Career Planning.  Coming to BIMIT is one step in the lifelong process of managing a career.  Students find an array of career development information & resources through seminars, workshops, symposiums, company briefings and the significant work experience of their seniors.

Self-assessment is the essential first step.  Through personal inventory students begin to define their interest and work-related values.

Later, students have the opportunity to learn about functional roles in range of industries & companies from panel discussions & career fairs.  Experienced professional staff, workshops & a series of guide books support individual skill building in resume writing, interviewing &  offer negotiation and job search strategies.

BIMIT sponsors many developmental programmes inviting representatives of major employers alongwith local almuni & interested students.  The contacts through this network helps develop significant resources for career development & industrial project works.  Career Development at BIMIT results in more than job placements.  Graduates are equipped with a set of tools & resources that will serve them over a life time of learning & growth.

A good number of Pharmaceutical Companies, Marketing Companies, Commercial Banks, Indian Finance Companies, Electronics and Software Companies, Telecom & FMCG Companies emerged as prominent recruiters between 2001-2003 & 2002-2004.
